What does Ruralite Services provide? 

When you join, you get a quarterly planning calendar, a best practices guide (policy pointers, post tips, image resources and social response chart) and a custom cover image for Facebook and Twitter. Each month, you get a spreadsheet with suggested Facebook and Twitter content (three to five posts a week). The spreadsheet includes planning space for other utility communication channels (video, eNewsletter, website, blog). You also get a list of suggested posts.

Do you post content for me? 

No. We offer suggestions. You decide what to post.

What kind of content can I expect? 

On Mondays we provide a #BeSafe tip. On Thursdays we share #EnergyTips from the energy gurus at Efficiency Services Group. Graphics are provided for national holidays and utility-related events (Arbor Day, Earth Day, National Cooperative Month, Public Power Week, etc.). Posts for shared Ruralite or Florida Currents stories are spread throughout the month.

How many graphics will my utility receive?

Images help your content break through. We provide custom graphics or industry links/videos for most energy-efficiency and safety tips. We also offer utility-related graphics for select holidays.

Will every graphic include my logo? 

Energy-efficiency and safety graphics are universal. Only holiday images and quarterly header images include your logo.

Can I ask Ruralite to create specific content?

We love to get suggestions for program content and partner messages (BPA, Northwest RiverPartners, Touchstone Energy, etc.). If a message is universal, we will do our best to include it in the program. If you need a message about a specific program at your utility, we can work with you for an additional fee to develop a coordinated print, website and social media campaign.

Does the program include reporting features?

Not now, but that option may be available in the future.

Do I have to sign up for a year or can I pay monthly? 

You may subscribe on a monthly or annual basis. Let us know which works best for you.

How much does the program cost?

$200 a month for magazine members and $250 a month for non-magazine members.
